Pours clear, yet very dark blonde. big, super-creamy mocha-white head. Smell is bit sweet, aromatic, dark sugars and malts. Some bitterness as well. Taste is rather sweet, yet in a complex way ( earthy, leaves, sugars, malts ) underneath a very intense metallic taste. the metallicness is def wrong, and for sure intense, but it doesn’t ruin the taste completely. the beer is still quite nice as it is. Yet if they fix the metallic notes, I think this beer could be great.

Courtesy of tderoeck. Second beer from this new beer company, with yellowish pale beige, initially very thick, rocky, frothy head over a lightly hazy brownish bronze beer with burgundy-ruddy hue. Fruity, typical average quadrupel aroma, stewed pear, caramel, treacle, candied fig, overripe plums, biscuit, ripe red berries, soggy brown bread, candi syrup, straw, white pepper, baker's yeast, some vague iron. Sweet estery - fruity and candi sugary taste, ’fluffy’ and yeasty, residual candi sugariness, supple but full mouthfeel, tad metallic, banana and raisins, caramelly and somewhat chocolatey malts, fruity and yeasty finish with lightly bittering herbal hops and warming, brandy-ish alcohol in the end. A bit stereotypical for the style, but I had a lot worse.

Thanks to tderoeck! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Tim needs to get rid of his ticks” Tasting. Enjoyed together with tderoeck, Benzai & Alengrin. Dark reddish amber, tanned head. Sweet caramel, fruit, toffee, cinnamon,… nose, bit typical & tad fake but promising. Taste is lesser, soy sauce, rotting berries, bitter herbs, dog food, malt. Thick soy sauce body; Could & should be better than this. Usually Anders produces finer stuff.... maybe the client is to blame for certain choices here?
