Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes, Ansjelaah and Martinus @ weekly tasting. Slightly unclear yellow color, full sized white head. Smell and taste lemon, lightly sourish, quite fruity. Average to medium body and carbonation. Nice beer! Much better than expected.

Bottle sample @ BAB’14.

Sampled bottled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2014. Gorgeous bottle, I can see it jacking up the price too much. Light golden, white head. Mellow funk in the nose, mellow lacto, faint sour milk, lemon & grains. Taste is lemon, touch chemical, white sugar, herbs, tartness is light, grains, mellow balanced. Substantial malt body, good carb. Enjoyable but I was hoping for something more outspoken.

Quite stable head, hazy yellow beer. Perfumed, grass, some white candi sugar suggested, herbal aromas. Dry start, but going over in malty sweetness. Bit of vegetable oil, again herbs. Very spritzy MF, belied by the visual. Faintly burning MF. Promissory, reasonably original. Bavikhove going new ways?

1/II/14 - 75cl bottle @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2014-137) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear orange beer, creamy big white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit sweet, fruity, some passion fruit, citrus, bubble gum, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sour start, lemony, fruity, some orange peel, pineapple, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: grapefruit, some alcohol, bit sourish, pretty bitter. I hope the sour flavours will even get stronger as this beer ages. I've put a bottle away in my cellar!
