This unfiltered wheat ale goes well with sizzling summer days, so find yourself a patio and pull up a chair. Enjoy Hefeweizen chilled in a tall, slim glass, and although our Brewmaster may scoff, a lemon wedge is the perfect accessory to the natural fruit flavours of this refreshing beer. This ultimate thirst quencher is like no other. Unique flavors originate from an unfiltered suspension of precious Bavarian yeast, generous amounts of malted wheat and liberty hops

Cloudy copper pour, small underwhelming head. Aroma of cheap malted wheat, wet paper, light yeast and a touch of citrus. Watery mouthfeel, super low carb. The flavour is surprisingly ok, its crisp, and fruity, some nice lemon, and yeasty notes, but the watery mouthfeel hurts it.

341 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy amber colour with a thin off-white head. Light spicy aroma with banana and malt. Flavour has notes of spice, banana, malt, caramel, clove and a wheat finish. Thin body, watery texture and soft carbonation.

Draught. Hazy orange with a thin head. Aroma is thin wheat. Flavor is wheaty and yeast with a little fruit. Ok Hefe

Une bière bizarre, foncée pour le style, trop sucrée je trouve... En bouche, c’est mielleux et cartonné; drôle de mélange.

Can: Poured a hazy pale yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with average retention. Aroma of banana ester with wheat malt notes is pleasant enough. Taste is also dominated by banana ester notes with wheat malt and light cereal notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Not major brewing flaws but limited complexity as well.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with nice white head. Very yeasty aroma with some citrus. Sweet bready taste. Quite light, little oily, little finish.

Purchased a 6-pack of this at The Beer Store in Ottawa. Pours a pretty hazy golden-amber with a creamy off-white head, great retention with some lacing. It does not go down more than 4mm, just thick and creamy. Great wheat nose with lots of spices, notes of caramel malt and bananas. Lightly-bodied but kind of creamy. Wheat taste with hints of banana bread, vanilla and the spices are quite mild. Not as tasty as the aromas give out to be. Still, a pretty decent Canadian Hefe that is nice to have in Ontario (finally).

This Hefe poured a cloudy yellow blonde with a sparse rocky head. First sip was smooth and lightly carbonated with scents of weIners, bananas, smoke and cloves. First sip was watery with flavours of yeast, bananas and cloves. Finish is yeasty and thin.

A hazed golden amber hefeweizen with a thin off white head. In aroma, intense caramel malt with nice banana notes, berries, cloves, pineapples. In mouth, a smooth banana malt with light caramel, cloves, light astringence and chalky notes. Tasted with ProbstBlueRibbon, July 7, 2012. Thanks Karl.
