Bottled (thanks to laiti for giving a sampler!). Slightly hazy orange colour with a good white head. Aroma is earth, yeast, spices, some fruits and also a bit of alcohol. Flavour is wood, caramel, alcohol, spices, yeast and earth with some nice liquorice kicking in as well. This one was actually good in a messy "Fantome" way, yet so brilliantly balanced in it’s own twisted way. Wow.

75cl bottle @ HBF ’14
Aroma has funky and earthy notes and soapy citrus. Flavour is dry with soapy citrus, earthy notes. Unusual and excellent. Feels like Fantôme, but lower on citrus.

750ml bottle @ HBF 2014

Pours orange with a massive white head. Aroma of earthy notes, yeast, wood, hints of fruits and malts. Taste is smooth, woody and oaky with some fruits, vanilla, berries and citrus. Finish is complex but smooth, hoppy and fruity with some wood, oak, berries, citrus, licorice and spices. Quite untypical, fruity and hoppy oak aged beer. Not your typical Belgian ale.

Flaska från Belgoklubben. Ljust bärnstensfärgad vätska med tjockt vitt skum. Fruktig, jästig arom med lite surt i bakgrunden. Hästfilt och jordkällare i äktenskap. Eldig munkänsla.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Born from the love between the beers “Femme Fatale” and “Bon Homme”, their child was put for 3 months in a wooden barrel. Afterwards received a (soft) spice…. Or so it were according to the brewer apparently. Light golden with a white head. Nose is that of sweet pears, candy, very fruity, white sugar. Taste is sweet oak, pears, candy, white sugar, very round & rich with slight funk, faint lemon in the back. Very easy to drink, very interesting brew for sure. Earlier Rating: 12/22/2012 Total Score: 3.775 cl. bottle sample @ 18th Christmasbeer festival in Essen. Hazy golden with a white head. Smell is sweet & fruity, lots of pears in here, Belgian candy sugar & quite a bit of fruit sugar. Taste is white bread, candy sugar, lots of pears, tad pear syrup, light hops, very sweet pears, white sugar, fruity Belgian yeast. Body is a tad fuller – nice.
