Taster at home, courtesy of Sander, big thanks. Orange hazy color, small white head. Smells earthy, piney, peppery, lychee, oats. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes piney, earthy, Mango, passion fruit, light forest strawberries, bit sweet, pineapple. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of Mango, forest strawberries and some passion fruit. Very nice one, smooth to drink, good amount of exotic fruit notes, bit on the sweet side 7,4,8,3,17

0.33 l can from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before canned in April 2020. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly herbal-grassy aroma of passion fruit, pineapple and some orange. Gently sweet, minimally bitter, very fruity, juicy, slightly herbal-grassy taste of passion fruit, orange, mango and some pine, followed by a short, minimally bitter, gently herbal-grassy finish with hints of alcohol. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Really nice DIPA, one of the best I've had in recent months.

Can. Just a mild haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good crispy carbonated bite. Light creamy sweet malts. Nice hop combo here. Crisp strong piney HBC 692 hops, getting slightly minty. Some good juicy tropical fruits underneath (shock horror - halfway decent Mosaic?). The Azzaca orange and lemon comes through loud and clear on the crisp finish that also brings a light touch of candy fruits. Fab. So bright and crisp and fruity. Smashed this can in precisely no time at all.

CO 08/04/20, BB 08/10/20;At first quite oatmeal forward on the nose, hints of sulfur/rotten eggs;moderate fruity presence but not so common tropical as you expect;notes of bread dough & backers yeast, gentle spiciness, smooth herbal & green presence

Can from Sophie’s Beer Store. Hazy golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of watermelon and vine tomatoes. Flavour of tangerine and apricot with a peppery finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Fruity and easy to drink for the ABV.

330ml can. Hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma of piña colada. Taste is also very much like a piña colada, sweet, tropical, mango, pineapple, coconut, pine, pithy citrus, slightly floral, light bitterness. Medium body. Smooth Lovely DIPA. Hops are very Sabro-like but less extreme on the coconutty notes.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Hazy amber with a big white head. Wonderful citrus and pine aroma with some added tropical fruits. Semi-sweet taste with a gentle bitter finish. Very smooth and rich. Great NE DIPA.

330ml can from sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Hazed orange, sparse white bubbles atop. Aroma greets with familiar NE peachy stonefruit musings. Taste continues with a noticeably creamy character, good peachy notes, mango perhaps, confidently sweet but nicely balanced, good smooth body with a low bitterness. Pretty decent.

Collab of Dutch Frontaal with Frost Beer Works, a craft brewery in Vermont - seemingly to ensure NEIPA credibility... Can from BeerFreakChick, shared with my girlfriend. Eggshell-white, mousy, bit irregular, rather loosely structured, quickly opening and eventually all but vanishing head on a cloudy peach blonde beer with pale orangey glow. Aroma of lime zest, dry marijuana, green mango, diesel 'dankness', pink grapefruit juice, yellow curry, dried lemongrass, freshly cut Jalapeño peppers, lemon peel, papaja, bitter honey, maracuja, olive oil. Very juicy from the start, lots of sour and sweet fruitiness reminiscent of guava, starfruit and granadilla, medium to soft carb (still finely 'prickling' though); full and fluffy body, a tad oily. Sweetish middle, doughy 'soil' underneath impressions of Honeydew melon, passionfruit and papaja, with a ginger powder-like spiciness to it; tropical alright, but still maintaining a more zesty citrus peel effect as well, pomelo- and mandarin-like, even with some welcoming bitterness in the end, in itself fortified by a splash of warming but otherwise well-positioned, wodka-like alcohol. The big wave of tropical yet zesty fruitiness remains the main attraction here, and performs exceptionally well. Exemplary for a 'NEDIPA' - I can think of only very few other Dutch ones in this genre that are in the same league, and apparently the involvement of a Vermont brewery did have the desired effect of coming up with a very credible, elegant and powerful example of the style. The only thing that bothered me a little bit - as it does in many NEDIPAs, now that I come to think of it - was the lack of head retention, but maybe this is not an important feature of the style anymore to begin with, so I will not take this into consideration in my rating. In any case a truly beautiful beer, if this is the kind of style you are into.

Can at home. Pours a rather hazy gold to amber, little head. Aroma is very peculiar, loads of tropical fruit, raspberry jam, weird juiciness. Maybe some gooseberry. Flavour is very sweet, very rich, malty and creamy. Too sweet for my taste. Again jam and juicy notes which I can't really place - gooseberry, raspberry and tropical fruit, especially mango and pineapple, are what I'm getting. This is alright but not really my thing.
