Bottle shared at London tasting, October 2016. Not sure who brought this one. I think I liked it a bit more than the others. Saffron aroma and in the in the flavor, big saffron aroma according to my notes. Thin palate, light yellow color. An interesting change if nothing more.

Bottle split at Islo tasting, thanks to ??? seems no juan has owned up, 04/10/16. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is paella, big safron vibes, lemon rind, grains. Taste comprises more paella, lemon rind, herb, light vanilla, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid ’does what it says on the tin’ novelty beer ... would I drink more ? Fuck no !

Bottle at the JK London tasting. It pours hazy gold with a thick white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, bread, sweet florals, bit of solvent and some must. The taste is sweet, sticky, earth, wood, white bread, saffron bun, plastic aspect and some spice. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A few odd notes to this one. Weird, but not horrific for me.

Bottle shared at the CBC Islington for the jk tasting. Many thanks. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is really headache solvent hot alcohol, dishwater. Soap. Flavour is sweaty wet socks, woody dishwater.. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, highish carbonation. Fucking terrible.

Bottle shared at the JK Tasting - Craft Beer Co., Islington. Cheers! Pours unclear gold with a frothy topping. The nose has some plastic and touches of wheat. Light sweet flavour with more plastic elements, dried wheat, mellow bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more of the same - plastic and dried out wheat. Not inspiring.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, golden colored beer with a dense, white head of finger-thick size. The aroma is very chalky it seems, but after some airation it feels more like the saffron expected. Fruityness in the back. Almost perfumed and flowery. Too heavy on the saffron for sure. It’s dry and medium bodied with a nice carbonation level. Heavy saffron flavor with fruityness, some pine cones and grass, and pale malts in the back. Lasting fruity, piney and saffron-ish finish. Seems like the base beer is nice, but there’s way too much saffron here. 160604
