Bottle from trade with Gabriel. Pours pale gold with a short lasting white head. Aroma of corn starch, caramel, citrus, wheat and lemon juice acidity. Moderate sweetness, medium sour. Light body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish balances the bitter sweet and tartness well.

0.33 l bottle from ’Dranken Geers’, no bb date. Very pale yellow with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, rhubarb and wheat. Moderately sour, quite fruity taste of lemon peel, rhubarb, gooseberry and wheat, followed by a short, moderately tart, quite dry finish. Thin body, moderately astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Not too sour, enough taste for that abv (although very simple), quite refreshing. Still a bit bland, just average for the style.

330 ml. bottle. No BBF. Extremely pale citrus beer, looks a bit like a cheap macro cider, head is instantly gone,… Nose is heavy rotting lemon, rotting soapy wheat, spoiled, sour, too much,… Taste on the other hand is strangely palatable, briefly fizzy, sour soap, bit watery, strongly mineral oddly, coriander, lemon juice, lingering sour lemon soap mineral finish, bit salty,… Watery, massively chugable, crazily so,… Nose is a bit off-putting,… Taste isn’t optimal but it is crazily drinkable,…. Very refreshing actually, massively drinkable,… Not really a beer geek beer, it isn’t the base tasting but its got massive drinkability, its refreshing,… Quite different from the common everyday slur of USA styled Berliners. Interesting beer, I dig it oddly despite the watery lemon, sour, overly mineral & almost vegetable aftertaste, strangely lightly salty,… Strange stuff. I guess drinkability really counts for something,…

330ml bottle, from trade with Erzengel. Many thanks! Pours cloudy gold with receding white head. Aroma is tart lemon, giving way to some oxidised cobwebs, leading me to look for the Best Before date, which is nowhere to be found but I assume its past its best. Refreshing, lightly tart Berliner character but the off-putting oxidisation just makes it difficult to finish.

Straw blond with no head. This one has a weird taste. Soapy. Salty. Really thin and watery texture.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. Couleur dorée, persque transparente, birch sap water, col minime blanc.

42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to Paul. Almost clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Dirty dry stale start, a little lemon zing lifts it but then it a dusty and woody finish, dry. Bleh!
