bottle at home, on my now fucked up table... GUSHER !!!!!! havent had this bad gushing since alvine... high fontain and half of the bottle gone. Poured one glass out ( half foam thank you very much ! ) and the bottle still is overflowing. Now flakes of malt are covering my table, and all my paperwork on it. What a good start ! The huge white head collides and leaves out yeasty markings. Clearly, the gushing in this one logically disturbed the whole damn beer.. Smell is .. Well... a lot like alvine used to have in those tripel-style beers with the houseyeast... Its so alike, its scary. Taste is bitter, sharp, buttery yeast , as mentioned by expectations, this beer is pumped up with carbonisation, on an unearthy level... Rather dry beer, especially in the ending. the taste itself isnt to bad, but rather blank. Anyway, will NOT try this one again ( at least, for sure not at home ) since I’d rather have a shower in another place than my kitchen. 3,5 would be the regular score, let the actual given score tell you how pissed I am about yet another gushing failure...

750ml bottle split with Anndiesel. Murky orange-tan..the last quarter of the bottle much darker. Kind of quirky Belgian aroma, some clear age on it..a little oxidized but still effervescent. Fruity and mild, with some nice classic Belgian carbonation. Sweet, not unlike an amber at times. Honey, orange, apple cider. Kind of mediocre for a Belgian beer, but would be curious to try more from this brewery.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured @ Willems. No BBF. Pours a hazy orange with a thick whipped cream, white head, solid. Nose is oddly lactic, yoghurt, like an American sour but not in a good way, sour milk, brett peaches, milky, white bread dough, this cannot be right? Taste is bitter rotting mould, thick fermenting bread dough, rotting fruits, bitter esters, floral, strongly lactic, spoiled milk, spoiled yoghurt,… Too high carb. No there is no way that this is correct. Infected (I hope, otherwise wtf?), I cannot drink this & I am a tolerant guy when it comes to beer. Previous two reviewers also note that theirs was infected, not a good track record.

Small white rim over coppery-golden beer. Spices, coriander in particular, dull. Dreary dull-grainy to malty flavour, but finishing more spicy. Medium bodied, slick. Nothing special...

25/X/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Bierloods/Zytholoog (Adegem) @ home - BB: V/13 (2012-1174)

GUSHER alert! Apparently it's not my lucky day, 2nd infected bottle in a row...
Pretty cloudy yellow beige beer, lots of chunks floating around under a huge aery off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of citrus, soapy, cleaning product, dusty, sourish, vinegar, cow stable. MF: way too much carbon, light to medium body. Taste: sour, lemony, dirty, bit cheesy, hay, stable. Aftertaste: sourish, dirty, infected. Damn.

750 ml bottle, used a tulip glass. Nice unfiltered gold color. Thin white head. Nose is fruity with nose yeast profile. Melons mostly for nose.  Taste is a bit different. Yeast is there but I get a dried sugary fruit flavor. Finish is sweet with sugar a light Belgian spice. Dry finish. Nice brew, thanks goes out to Adam Jackson on sharing this one.

Stored in the cellar for a while...maybe 4 months? Enjoyed in a Delirium glass at cellar temp so around 62 degrees.

A - 1-finger yellow-ish head that subsided quick to nothing. SRM of 9. Dark slightly dark hues of gold and orange. Minor haze but overall pretty clear.

S - Very sweet. Pears and bright flowers. pollen and honeysuckle. big bright smell. Apples? It’s really gorgeous.

T - Wow. Super nice. Mild hop aroma is dominated by apples and oranges. Melons. yeah, lots of melons and a hint of vanilla. Honey brightness on the finish.

M - 40% carbonation on the mouth swish. Medium body with a crisp finish. Honestly, the mouthfeel is not reminiscent of a belgian strong ale. More like a Saison.

O - Very crisp and bright. Nice taste indeed. I liked this one a lot.
