Dark red-brown colour. A firm creamy and cream-coloured head. The smell of roasted malt, caramel and the sweet fruitiness of the alcohol give this beer the perfect aroma. Flavour: Caramel, sweet fruitiness and a pleasant bitterness are the predominant flavours. The aftertaste reveals a pinch of toffee and date.

Marron rojiza. Espuma manchada, efervescente.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Gushes a little on opening. Pours a dark mahogany brown with vibrant off-white head. Aroma is leather and sour fruits. Taste is tart, over-ripe soft dark fruits & some sour oud bruin notes. Interesting.

33cl bottle @home. BBE 07/16. Deep brown, thick beige head. Brown sugar, spicy, toffeeish aroma, dark fruity notes. Flavor has yeast, cinnamon, dark fruits and loads of sugar. Tickles. Toasted, caramelly finish. High carbonation. Too sweet for my taste. Edit: actually as the beer warms up a little I start to enjoy the fruity and spicy notes the yeast gives. up two notches from 3.0

Thx! 33 cl. bottle sampled @ Gollem. Dark brown, little mocha head. Smell is intensely sweet with cough syrup, brown sugar and molasses. Tastes like coca-cola mixed with brown sugar and molasses, very sweet and artificial with a heavy metallic note, gravy and bitter herbs. Syrupy body. Far too metallic and artificial. What did they put into this? It feels like there are a ton of additives and E-numbers in here.

Dark mahogany. Persistent beige head and lacing. Aroma of dried berries, blackcurrants, roasted nuts and dark caramel. Fruity taste reminiscent of boysenberries. Refreshing and well balanced.. Above average carbonation. A hint of sourness in aftertaste.
