The Gauloise Fruits Rouges keeps its Triple character with a fragrant touch travelling between bitterness and freshness. A bouquet of red and black fruits, especially the nose. It includes the beautiful ripe plum Altesse, raspberry, blackcurrant and even some cherries, it’s complex. This remains a Triple and thus, behind its sweeter appearance, this beer is powerful. Cellar temperature is perfect to allow full expression.

Je suis de plus en plus désespéré par ces bières à la cerise ou aux fruits rouges qui sont tout autant stéréotypées que grossières, trop sucrées et sans intérêt. Le visuel est toujours sympathique, avec une robe rouge, limpide avec de nombreuses et fines bulles et une mousse rose de 3 mm. Au nez, cela se dégrade avec un nez à la cerise chimique plutôt violent. En bouche, c'est bourrin avec des arômes de cerise chimique, trop de sucre et sans aucune variation. Présence en bouche et longueur sont toutefois honorables. Pas convaincant.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Red pour with a pink head. Aromas of morello cherries, strawberry jam, raspberry. Flavours of strawberry sherbet, morello cherries, raspberry, oodles of red fruit. Very sweet.

Bottle, 8.2%. Fat cherry aroma. Cloudy deep red colour. Big stable pink head. The flavour has some cherry but not as fat as the aroma lets on. Marzipan and cherry finish.

Bottle. Red amber with a pink head that's soon a coat. Aroma of cherry medicine, some herbs, almonds. Neither as sweet nor artificial tasting as presaged but fairly sweet still with some woody herbs and little bitterness towards the end. OK.

Rojiza, burdeos. Espuma rosácea, deja película. Aroma claramente frutal, predominio de cerezas. Igual que en boca, donde peca de dulzona, llegando a empalagar y recordando claramente a un jarabe para la tos. Cuerpo tiene, y alcohol... Que aparece en el postgusto en forma de calor.
