Vingt-quatre mois de maturation en barriques de vin rouge lui confèrent un nez aux notes de cerises aigrelettes et balsamiques, sur fond de vanille et de noisette. La bouche, vineuse et au fruit généreux, s’étire dans une finale divine, entrouvant au juste l’étroite porte du salut universel.

Brown bottle, 750 ml, date: 1508313, from and with Philippe Boutin (merci!), savoured on June 23 2016; eye: coppery, clear, no effervescence, no head, no lacing; nose: balsamic vinegar, malt, light green apple; mouth: balsamic vinegar, malt, light green apple, light acidity, finale in vinegar with presence of malt, medium body, average carbonation, lightly sweet, slick texture; overall: disappointing FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 750 ml, date : 150813, de et avec Philippe Boutin (merci!), savourée le 23 juin 2016; œil : cuivrée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, pas de mousse, pas de dentelle; nez : vinaigre balsamique, malt, léger pomme verte; bouche : vinaigre balsamique, malt, léger pomme verte, légère acidité, finale en vinaigre avec présence de malt, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : décevant

Draft - Soured dark malts. Deep maroon with a small beige head. Light soured malts, some higher alcohol and a bit of booze. No balance.

Bottle at RBSG PGH 2016 Grand Tasting. Hazy reddish maroon color, tan head. Aroma of dark fruit. Taste is sweet and sour burnt caramel. Tasty.

loudy orange, 2 finger tan head. smells really nice but far from a flanders red. maybe some cherry here. sharp acidity up front followed by grapes, cherries and pickles. strange beer

Bottle: Poured alight reddish color ale with a small foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of vinous and oak notes with light tart notes is somewhat messy. Taste is also a mix of vinous notes with some tart note san da weird funky finish. Body is about average with low carbonation. Not bad but some weird funky notes with not enough carbonation for my taste.

THX!!! to JulienHuxley. 750 ml. bottle sampled. Murky ruby red liquid with little head. Sweetish smell with fermenting red fruits, very overripe strawberries, red berries, yeasty with some sugary sweetness. Taste is similar interesting fermenting and overripe dark fruits upfront, cranberry, strawberry, sugary sweet, quite interesting sweetness, murky with yeast, messy, touch lactic, dark bread soaked in bread. Murky and messy mouthfeel. Doesn’t feel very intentional but tastes quite lovely with an interesting sweetness.

Thnx to julien bigass gusher !!!! Pours redorange , huge , very fast dissapearing foam Smell is fruity , oak Good carbonation . Sour , funky , fruity , oak , very dry . Nice one
