Sampled from can @ RBBSG III. Fluorescent reddish color, small white head. Smell and taste candy, chemical, sweetness and indeed some tequila flavors. Oh well, what was to expect from this huh?

21/IV/14 - 33cl bottle from a local supermarket (Gent) @ home - BB: who cares, probably still good cause I just bought it a month ago or so (2014-379)

Clear dark orange to pale red beer, creamy aery light pink head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sugary, citric, artificial lemonade, artificial fruitiness. MF: ok carbon, medium body (probably from all the sugar). Taste: sugary sweet start, bit lemony, lime and lemonade, very sweet, artificial flavouring. Reminds me of cactus flavoured jenever. Aftertaste: little bitter, lemony, sugary sweet lemonade with funky flavours. Oh well, my sister in law was happy with it.

in beer, you have whales, and - lets call the other opposite - ants . just like ants the animal, ants the doesnt matter. down upon . wether you like it, doesnt matter. you SHOULD score it badly .( think of low alcohol, sweetened beers, ... ) just like whales are suposed to be rater 4 + . i will NOT join this way of rating . i always rate according to how much i enjoy it , the whole package . looks ( also label) , smell, mouthfeel, taste , aftertaste . thats how i’ve always done it, and always WILL do it . so yeah, lets open our minds and lets not expect a beer of something that doesnt even call itself a beer . its a mix . itsd a drink . do you enjoy it ? appart from IS it a beer or not ? here’s what i thought : i drank it from the bottle at ’t rotske ( metalbar in antwerp, the owner is a fan of this ) . colour is as seen on the picture. dindt pour it out . smell is sweet carbonation is like a soda . very arteficial . taste reminds me of bacardi breezer wattermelon . the first alcoholic beverage i ever enjoyed . every few months, i even sneak in the stores , disguised, and buy a bottle . yes, i do have to admit i like this . i do NOT like how arteficial this tastes like, but what it does taste like, is not bad at all . watermelon comes to mind, on a bit of a malty base . maybe somewhat sweetened . no complexity, nothing a BEER should be like . but as a drink, this is damn fine . think of this rating ( or me) what you will, but i’ll set a spine here , and rate this 3,5 . as much as i rate mpy average beer . why so high ? simply enough cause i can enjoy this as much as the average beer . ( stuff that taste the same as 20000 other beers ) . so yeah ... 9 percent on style ? i think thats a bit influenced by rathing this as an ’ ant’ .

Canned, 0.50l. Clear amber orange color with large dissipating frothy pinkish head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy malt, tequila, guarana and other artificial crap. Taste is artificial sweet, mild fruity, alcoholic and moderate unpleasant bitter. Light body, dry texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. That’s an insult for beer lovers...

50 cl. can @ home. BBF 08/2014. Procured from Carrefour. Last can at the store, score! First sighting of one of the variations. Beer aromatized with tequila, cachaça and guarana, sounds fascinating terrible. The can looks lovely, energy drink styled can. This stuff is not cheap, looking at the ABV, the buzz / price ratio doesn’t seem to be on par with the stronger Gordon’s which are in a comparable price-range. This one is more of an alcopop, those usually don’t have the highest ABV & are quite pricey as well. There is that, now it is time to taste this puppy. Poured ice-cold into my Eylenbosch glass, it’s a amber pomegranate pink, creamy, collapsing soapy head, very light shade of pink. Nose is basically huge artificial sweeteners, not very off-putting, totally artificial strawberry additives, lime, guarana, totally unidentifiable red fruits, flavourings & additives, gummy bears, faint tequila. Taste is lots of artificial sweeteners, including aspartame, guarana, lime, artificial cheap tequila, quinine, light jam, unidentifiable red fruit additives including strawberry, sorbet, more artificial additives in the back, touch sweeteners chemical sourness, slight burn. Light, almost watery, hint higher carb. Absolutely nothing about this identifies this like a beer to me, def. not nasty like the regular version. You can drink this like an energy drink. If you want to get buzzed & not taste any alcohol or alcohol-like drink this might be the way to go for you. 100 % artificial but not off-putting, I have had quite a few less pleasing “pale lagers’. I wouldn’t actually call this off-putting even, I had no issue finishing this.

Clear 400ml bottle: BBD 30 Dec 2013. This bottle was bought in an iffy Asian Supermarket close to where I live, however it would appear the bottle has had an exciting life. The bottom of the front label claims: License of HBBV, The Netherlands and the rear label was all in Polish, I wonder how it ended up in Shropshire? This beer was supposed to consumed on the 6th Aug 2013 during ’Shitty Beer Night’, but I’d had 6 awful brews and couldn’t face this one too. Anyway, 7th Aug 2013 sees me poured this into a UK pint sleeve. I already knew it was red by the name and the see through nature of it’s bottle. The head came out pink and faded fairly swiftly. The nose and taste are both exceedingly sweet with heavily sugared strawberries appearing to be the main culprit. Sickly, cheap Tequila notes add to the nausea and general feeling of ’alcopop’. Not a nice drink: but better than all the other 6 beers I had the night before!

Bottle @ Home. Pours reddish dark amber with a offwhite / very light pink head. Aroma of artificial red fruit, cherry, grapefruit. Flavor of sweet sodalike, artificial fruit, artificial sweeteners, light citrusly. Thin body, lively carbonation. Actually drinkable and kindof refreshing in a Fanta / Cola like way. 100213

Bottle at the ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to some unkind individual. Pours clear pink with a fine, white foam head. Fruity-berry malt nose, light bread. Big sugary flavor, berries. LIght to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, somewhat artificial, light bitterness, lasting fruits. Meh. To borrow the words of harrisoni: "i mean its rubbish but i love the child sweet thing."
