Bottle @ Paters Vaetje, Antwerpen. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. (The sweetnes is malt and sugar). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (300807)

Bottle: Poured a rusty golden color with a thing slightly off white head. From the distance I could already smell a sweet candy aroma of some kind. When I took a deep uninterupted breathe I could pick up more sweet tones along with fruit and yeast. The taste is very sweet spicy malt with a jumping hoppy finish that left my tongue not only tingly like I had just licked a battery, but wanting to drink more.

Bottle, 8%. Clear copper colour, small head. Weak fruity and yeasty aroma. The flavour is a little sweet and quite peppery in good balance. Also fruity with a slightly yeasty aftertaste. Quite nice, actually.

A light amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. Aroma of sweet candy malt, and coriander. In mouth, crisp malt, with light metallic notes, warming alcohol, a bit simple. A simple little Tripel. Bought at LCBO, Dec. 2006. BB 15-05-2006.

On tap at the Pianeta Birra, Rimini, Italy.
Very disappointing brew. Pours a pale amber colour with small firm white head and pleasant spicy nose. Sweet malty and fruity aroma with notes of spices, alcohol and candy sugar. dry malty finish and a way too sweet.

Bottle: Clear, reddish to amber coloured, thin, slowly vanishing white head; malty, a bit cardboardy nose with some spicy traces (cinnamon ?); quite full, sweetish, fruity flavour (peaches, pears); mild, spicy, sweetish and also a bit hoppy finish; creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but nothing special...............

Bottle: Poured a deep orangey/amber color ale with a large white bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of cinnamon, sweet malt and typical Belgian yeast. Taste is also dominated by the spice mix, which probably includes cinnamon with some sweet malt. Body is defiantly too thin for the style, carbonation is too low but alcohol is well hidden.
