Bottled BB 06/2014, tnx bierkoning!
Dark brown color, huge off-white/brownish head. Cardboard, licorice and berries in the nose. Medium-bodied. Licorice, grassy hoppyness but also some harsh grainy-kind of flavors, ash and burned malts. Not very balanced black IPA.

33CL bottle at home, dark cola like coloured with a medium off white head, aroma is liquorice and a hint of some citrus, taste is citrus with a small hint of liquorice, carbonation is a bit high but drinkable after some time.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Speciaal Bier Winkel in Bodegraven. I don’t see any date on the bottle & this is a BIPA… Brilliant name. Dark brown beer, murky, vanishing soapy beige head. Nise full grapefruit hops in the nose, also cocoa, coffee grounds, light ash & burned toast. Cocoa powder taste, very powdery feel, burned toast, light ash, coffee ground, chocolate mixed with lovely grapefruit & touch pine resin hops, lots of them. No integration between the parts, the beer is still very lovely? Very powdery, too high carb. body. Flawed but very nice to drink.

Purchased this from a new bottle shop in Bodegraven, Speciaal Bierwinkel? Consumed this at Camping Het Rieven, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Sunday 29th September 2013 Hugely foamy, light tan but the colour of the beer is dark brown. Some dark bitter treacle, a little molasses maybe, I know that this is a black IPA but there are other things here as well, some roastiness, its hoppy but its got a lot going on. I like this A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Decent Black IPA. Smooth balance of hops and dark roasted malts. A bit too timid for my taste.

Dark brown colour, off-white to beige head. Aroma of citrus, citra, caramel, malts, lots of pineapple. Bitter flavour, hops, roasted malts, pineapple, fruity. Quite dry. Fruity finish, caramel, pineapple, light roasted malts.
Nice. More like a caramel infused IPA, but I do like it!
