750 ml bottle. Bottled on Sept. 4, 2012. Pours cloudy orange with a thick cream-colored head with excellent retention. Aroma consists of dusty Brett, SweeTarts, lemon rind, grain, doughy bread. Taste is lightly sweet, fruity and savory with a touch of sour in the finish. Foamy mouthfeel. Good, but not nearly as great as I was expecting. This is way too fresh. I’m sure it’d be much better in a year or so.

750 mL bottle. Cloudy orange with a medium, beige head. The aroma is light citrusy fruit (honeydew, cantaloupe, lemon), underripe berries, cereals, and a little brett funk. The flavor is a little sour and has a strong, grainy sweetness. The mouth is medium, hard, and grainy. Overall, this is an interesting, delicious, and very easy drinking beer.

750mL bottle, sent from Gillard (thanks a lot, Ryan), pours a cloudy bright orange with a medium white head. Nose is prominently yeasty, with a little bit of orange zest, and I guess a bit of guava (though I'm not overly familiar with this fruit). Flavour of Belgian yeast and guava equally; there are some other tropical fruit-like qualities, like a bit of mango and pineapple, but I guess that's because I'm not that familiar with guava qualities. Finishes light fruity and slightly yeasty, with medium carbonation. Solid, albeit unspectacular, saison.

Bottle. Pours a dark golden, with a thick, creamy head. Aroma is very sweet and tropical with apricot, peaches and bananas, as well as toffee and roasted malts. It’s got a full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is on the sweet side, with roasted malts, coffee, as well as yeast and a peculiar sweet fruitiness. Very strange!

Slightly hazy amber yellow colour, off white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, candy, quite fruity, light honey. Light sour flavour, malty, tropical fruits and honey. OK body, hefty carbonation. Finish of tropical fruits.

75 cl. bottle from Hopduvel @ home // pours an opaque amber/orange/touch apricot / nice stable white head //smells of yeast, puree, apricot, esters, sort puree, like fruit layered on top, not really guava for me although the origin is most likely guava, unusual, not sure how to describe, applesauce, touch pear I suppose, exotic spices, anis, odd // taste is not easy either, don’t think getting guava, maybe my idea of guava is wrong, bitter, applesauce, pear, pureed, esters, bitter esters, sufficient yeast, anis, yeast, strong esters, dash Belgian yeast, bitter applesauce, esters, anis, some exotic fruits in the finish, all of this is very hard to pin down, nor entirely sure as to how to describe this, hint of booze in the back // body is very carbonated, definitely influences the taste, easily to much carb. but does contributed to the interesting-ness // yeah, I would call this, interesting & definitely a Belgian streak to it, the Belgian yeast thing is doing its work but that is not really what I was hopping for // sort of wish for a mushy guava-esque (or at least my idea of guava) mess // quite intrigued even if I didn’t get really my monies worth (although not entirely badly priced for what it is), this was quite interesting and nice as well // indeed unlike anything else I have ever encountered before // would definitely go great with white fish as suggested
