Brown bottle, 75 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savoured on March 14 2014; eye: dark with a reddish hue, lightly hazy, tiny ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: malt, light spent grains, caramel; mouth: malt, light spent grains, caramel, acridness, lightly acrid finale with presence of spent grains, medium body, below-average carbonation, mildly sweet, a bit thin; overall: disappointing FRANÇAIS Bouteille olive, 75 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savourée le 14 mars 2014; œil : brune avec une teinte rougeâtre, légèrement voilée, petit anneau de mousse beige, légère dentelle; nez : malt, léger drèche, caramel; bouche : malt, léger drèche, caramel, âcreté, finale en léger âcre avec présence de drèche, corps moyen, carbonatation sous la moyenne, moyennement sucrée, un peu mince; en résumé : décevant

An amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with fruity esters, light grassy notes, interesting. In mouth, a light sweet fruity malt with signs of oxidation, coriander, watery, boring. Bottle by GRM.

Bardzo dobre i tresciwe piwo ze stabilna i spora piana, kolor metny bursztynowo ciemny, typowy dla amberow. Etykieta moze nie ciekawa ale za to jaki zapach i smak. Pierwsze to w nozdrza uderzaja zapachy amerykanskich chmieli, w smaku slodowosc miesza sie ze smakiem jakby na moj posmak z Amarillo. To rzadkie doznania w belgijskich ale.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with light rustic malt notes. Taste is also dominated by dry caramel malt with a dry aftertaste. Body is about average with good carbonation. I must admit that this really doesn’t feel like an Anniversary beer and is somewhat boring.

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, flowers, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, dusty hops, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge off white head. Fruity, toasted malty and light caramelish. Mild citric, lingering fruity and light toasted. Sweet and toasted malty finish.

A beautiful, redbrown beer with a big, cloudy and blond head. A complex aroma of fruits, citrusfruits, caramell, fructose and some tropical fruits. Taste of caramell malts, still quite dry, due to medium bitterness, citrusfruits and hint of spices, that are enhanced in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, lots of smooth carbonation. Easy, but complex and enjoyable beer.
