The Supermarket tasting, Bodegraven! Clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish and dry with fine carbonation. Dull caramel malt. Touch of dried fruits. Little spice. Dry finish. Typical macro dullness.

Clear dark redbrown, at first frothy white brown head, recedes quickly to thin layer. Roasty, liquorice, sirup, earthy, herbs. Medium sweet roasty taste, followed by light bitterness, sticky, some creaminess, full sweet finish, brown sugar, only slight bitterness.

A dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is rich and malty, bread, ryebread roastiness and syrup. Taste is sweet and malty, syrup, bread, some rich and cooked fruits, dates, hint of roastiness. Medium+ bodied, quite smooth to drink. Sweet and malty, I think too sweet, still rich in nuancees with strenght of malts.

Personal contribution @ β€˜The Adam Jackson Tasting’. Awesome – 30 cl. bottle sampled. Reddish brown with little off-white head. Smell is very sweet, very sweet, molasses, very sticky caramel, medicine,… this is still sort of ok. Taste is however that with sweet herbalness, medicines, sweet stiky caramel, cough syrup, odd metal off-flavours, fake, way too much, some bitter herbs, gingerbread,… Sticky, less carb. It is a bit like licking a tree after taking cough medicine. In a bad way so… yeah.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Poured a rich golden brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is a very pleasant roasted malt. The flavour is medium sweet malty caramel with some liquorice in the aftertaste. Some boks are way too sweet, but this one just about hits the mark for me,
