0,35L can. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is fruits, spices, perfumy, sweet and with hints of alcohol. Taste is very sweet, fruity, wheat, malt, and some nice bitterness. Finish is also grapefruit bitter with lingering sweetness. Overall: I think this is my first white IPA. I really like (good) wheat beers and IPA-s, so I think this is an interesting experiment. I would love to try some other example of this style.

33 cl can @home from an IP trade with TimE, thanks! Clear pale golden color. White head, with short retention. Aroma’s from the glass: grassy hops, hints of caramel and sour fruit. Retronasal it’s sweet malts/caramel, wheat, hops on the background, perhaps some coriander? Flavor is moderate sweet with a light bitterness. Medium bodied. Finishes with a moderate bitterness. Nice crossbreed, could have used a bit more of a hopbite even.

33 cl can @ Pudel
Aroma is sweet with fruit juice - perhaps passionfruit? Flavour is a bit messy and yeasty with fruity and grassy hops. Feels like a well hopped saison. Refreshing and good.

6.5% Can, 315 yen from Seijo Ishii. It has a Belgian yeast with hop aroma. The flavor is fruity yeast esters followed by a bit of a heavy handed hop bitterness. The finish is kind of ascerbic. Drunk from the can it is ok but nothing to write home about.

Slighlty hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, hops, citrus, quite spicy, cloves. Light bitter flavour, sweet notes, yeast and citus. Spicy finish, light hops, wheat and yeast. The witbier character is overpowering the IPA part imho, but a nice beer nonetheless.

Courtesy of KyotoLefty. 35 cl. can sampled @ decadent symmetry tasting. Pours clear white with some white bubbles for a head. Nose is sweet citrus, murky, white yeast, cat piss hops, hay. Taste is sweet citrus, yeast which feels DE, bitter, bitter herbs, slight lemon sweetness, hay, touch hops, hint grapefruit hay, bitter herbs in the back. Hazy body. Quite odd but rather enjoyable, a nice view upon Japan.

Can thanks to Mark. It pours pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is hay, dough, grainy, herbal aspect and underlying sweetness. The taste is clean, bitter, grassy, grapefruit, white grape skin, gooseberry, spicy edge and some alcohol warmth with a dry, bitter finish. Interesting and pretty tasty.
