1/2 Pint Keg @ King William IV. Very hazy orange with a creamy white head, incredible lacing. Smell is very harsh American hops, harsh pine, very bitter oranges, fruity. Taste is very bitter USA hop, harsh pine, very harsh orange peel, lightly zesty, light exotic fruits, edging towards floral, harsh marmelade, almost booze in the back. Mouthfeel is very dry, nicely full.

On tap @ King William IV. Hazy orange body with a nice, medium sized, dense off-white head. Quite mild citric fruity aroma with a hint of fruity acidity. Flavor is very fruity with a fruity acidity like orange or lemon peel. Light malty, bitter with hint of spices and a rather moderate Brett flavor. Medium body and a nice fruity, slightly acidic aftertaste. A amazingly well balanced combination of hop and Brett, just so unfuckinbelivable refreshing, this really rocks. Just had to have two more of this at the expense of two more ticks.

Keg at PSBH, 30th August. Nice beer, perfect carbonation, aroma is brett and some sour notes, flavour is some brett, slightly sour which fades very qucikly to give a rich fruit salad of hops. This was delicious beer

Keg at both the Old Coffee House and King William IV, London. The keg at KWIV definitely had a more pronounced brett character. Any way...the beer pours a lightly hazy yellow with a fine, white foam head. Big juicy citrus nose with some toasty pale malts. Faint spicy yeast. Medium to big sweet flavor with lightly grassy hops, pine, some sugar, light dry barnyard. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with mild citric tang, grass, pine, further citrus juices, some fresh brett, and a bit of grapefruit. Very solid IPA.

Keg at the Old Coffee House, Soho. It pours hazy gold, with a thin white head. The nose is farmyard, manure, brett, damp wood, orange, mango and peach. The taste is brett, farmyard, tanginess, orange, mango, pith, spice, leather, hay, wood, decent bitterness and some alcohol warmth, with a bitter, slightly citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Delicious.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Somewhat hazy, orangish appearance with an off white head. Somewhat spicy, lightly funky, a bit tropical fruity, a touch floral aroma. Very mild bretty (more like a wild yeast than bretty, honestly), somewhat citrusy, a bit spicy flavor. Kind of interesting but not as good as some Brett IPAs that I’ve had.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, caramel, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Keg at King William IV. As ’Brett IPA’ 7.6%. The very last bit of the keg, sadly. Hazy pale gold beer, little white head. Light palate, a little dry. Lovely lemon and lime citrus, a little lime peel. Bags of mellow brett. Dry finish with a nice citrus aftertaste. Really nicely joined up.

King William IV. A little fresher than last time and even nicerer! Sweet tangerine and sweet lemon and lime - all in perfect harmony. All the while there is mellow brett in the background. Just a whisper of creamy malt underneath. Finishes smooth and with more lovely citrus. Hugely drinkable. Great beer!

Keg @ BrewDog, Edinburgh 290612
Golden, slight haze, thin rim, no lacing
Aroma of golden malts, slight sour note, citrus but not strong aroma
Taste of sweet pale caramel malts, bitterish grassy hops, citrus hops, noticeable alcohol, slight sourness but not getting much of the brett here.
Palate - soft carb, full body, very dry. Long lingering dry hop bitterness
