Tap at Ma Che, Trastevere, Roma - 02/10/12. Very hazy golden with a big bubbly white head. Nose comes across with a little soap, light citrus, hops and spice. Tastes of soft fruits, grapes, light hop tones, a little dried fruit and bread. Fuller end of medium bodied with soft carbonation and a little alcohol in the finish.

13/09/2012 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Dorata, opalescente, torbida, schiuma abbondantissima, abbastanza persistente. Corpo medio, buona carbonazione. Non era in forma splendida, mi piacerebbe riprovarla.

Nate2Gs Birthday Bash at Kernel. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate, semi crisp. A little tart citrus with dry and mild creamy malts that are dominated by banana esters. Sourish semi dry finish with some sherbet. A curious beer, messy even but likeable and tasty.

Bottle thanks to Mario at Nate Dawg’s Birthday Bash. It pour light hazy golden yellow, with a decent white head. The nose is banana, alcohol, white grape and yeast. The taste is banana, aniseed, wood, white grape, dough, bread, touch of tartness and yeast, with a dry finish. Medium body, lively carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. An interesting and unusual brew.

Bottle at Nate’s Massive Kernel Birthday Piss-Up. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a big, white foam head. Big malt nose, some banana and alcohol. Sweet and malty, lightly spicy, doughy with a bit of floral bitterness. Medium to full in body with average carbonation and a slightly vinous feel. Malty finish, some fruits, perhaps white grapes, sugar. Not bad.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of spices as well as medium notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, grapes, fruit, and spices, leading to a dry wine-like finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
