75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBESG 2013. Thx! to chriso & Boudicca. I quite like the lable. Lightly hazy orange, only bubbles on the side of the glass. Nose is weak, lightly metallic, touch yeast, faint barn & some spelt,… Taste is sweetish, malts, touch spelt, hint lactic, mellow, light bitter spices, hint barn,… Lighter bodied. Not too impressive. Weak, messy in not the best way. Still nice to try one of these.

75cl Bottle at RBESG’13 Grand Tasting. Golden orange colour, no head. Aroma is stale, caramel, hint of tartness, smells old. Flavour is thin, bitter, some caramel, metallic. It’s bad and off.

Bottled @ RBESG 2013 Grand Tasting. Clear orange color, short head. Aroma is bit fruity, hint of horseblanket. Soft spicy notes. It’s a bit too dry in taste, which is not backed up by lovely grainy malts or a dash of caramel. Instead the spelt shines through and gives a weird herbal feel to it, which I dont really like.

Bottle @ RBESG grand tasting. Clear golden color, virtually no head. Aroma is lightly sweet and lightly funky. Taste is a bit flat, slightly sweet, a touch of herbs or spices. Don’t get much more. Low body, low carbonation. No, don’t like it.

Bottle at home. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is earth, musty, pretty spicy, fruit cake and orange peel. The taste is earth, musty wood, faint mould, pithy citrus, orange, mango, resinous and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and pretty low carbonation. A bit odd really. Quite mouldy and a bit flat.

Cock Tavern. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small off white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crispy. Minerals. Little creamy malt. Mild dried fruits and citrus. Semi dry finish. Competent, drinkable but ultimately dull.

Keg at BrewDog Camden - London. Pours opaque fold with a huge, lastiv and frothy white head. Aroma holds lots of urine, spicy pine, white grapes. Light to medium sweet flavor, pale and lightly doughy malts, some spicy yeast, pine, pee, grass, lime. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly resinous to finish with a bit more yeast, salty sweat, ripe tangerine, pine. Really tasty beer. Lip-smacking. I like it. Quite impressive given the relatively low ABV.
