Clear golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of malts, berries, light metalic touch. Malty flavour, light juniper berry, light hops, somewhat bitter. Quite dry. Malty finish with bitter juniper berry.
Interesting beer.

75cl Bottle at WWT II. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of baking yeast and a hint of juniper berries. Flavour is medium sweet, dry, yeasty, esters, juniper berries, light bitter finish with a little plastic. Light bodied. OK.

Bottle @ WWT II thanks to Martinus. Clear golden color, small white head. Not much aroma. Maybe a bit yeasty and some berries. Taste lightly malts, lightly fruity, fruitpeel, lightly bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Decent.

19/XII/12 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: VII/14 (2012-1381) Thanks to David for the bottle!

Clear golden orange beer, big irregular creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet malts, bit spicy, smells like a pilsener or even a malt liquor, weird. A hint of grassy hops. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, spices, citrus, little bitter. Aftertaste: pretty spicy, bitter, and indeed, juniper berries carrying a long spicy bitter aftertaste. Some alcohol in the end. Ok brew, and very interesting experiment, but I'm not convinced the juniper berry is the best spice to flavour beer with.

Draft @19de Internationale BierHappening, Zottegem.

draft tasting glass @ 19de Nationale Bierhappening: apparently this is the 15th! time that they made their own festival beer - it looks like this one is the first on RB - imagine how much stuff is not on RB from all these local happenings with virtually no or none all coverage - very hazy stuff with a reasonable white head - nose is very heavy on yeast, some white brad, citrus, berries and indeed some neat jenever - carries that jenever stuff through in the taste with some bitter herbs, white bread, bitter esters, lightly floral, touch of pear, leading into a herbal and jenever finish - very, very yeast heavy, hazy body - still quite lovely and nice stuff - better than expected
