The palest maris otter malt provides a full bodied base for generous quantities of Goldings hops. Bitterness is pronounced, spicy and resinous and will smooth out over time. Dry hopping with extra Goldings before bottling ensures a full aroma and rich characterful bitterness.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Amber pour with a hefty white head. Fragrant fruity nose with some grassiness. Flavour of sweet malt, yeast, herby hop and booze .Robust bitter finish. An above average english IPA which ploughs its own furrow and punches its weight.

Hazy gold beer, big off white head. Palate is light and dry. A little creamy malt. Minerals. Little aniseed. Bitterish hops - just a whisper of citrus. Dry finish with a bitter linger. Very English IPA and I found it hard work.

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a frothy white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Mild hoppy. Also a bit fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Hoppy, mild malty, some spicy notes and light fruity. Alcohol is a little bit to much present
Overall impression: Unusual IPA. Not typical British and not typical American. I had an ok bitterness, but the hopps used did not leave the ususal strong hoppy and fruity notes. Would have been better at a little bit lover abv.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Tommann.

500ml bottle. Pours an orangey golden amber colour, foamy white head and aroma of malt caramel & citrus. Taste is sweetish malt, fruity, spicy, some citrus and lingering woody bitterness. Smooth mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle: Golden, a bit hazy, big and stable fluffy head, moderate to solid floral hoppy nose with a tinge of honey; dry - but not too dry - moderate to solid bitter flavour with a delicate sweet counterweight, light to medium bodied, quite soft; lingering herbal to floral hoppy finish, some pale malt detectable again. A good sip…

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours clear gold with a moderate, white foam head. Tight, doughy malts, moderate floral hops, some plastic. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fiarly dry to finish, withhay, plastic, dry doughy pale malts. Nah, this is just a pretty weak attempt at an IPA.
