Sweet malt character comes from the pale malt and some toffee character comes from the crystal malt. A little roasted barley adds a touch of astringency. Special yeast adds fruity esters. The hops give classic clean herbal and resin hop flavour with a moderate easy drinking bitterness.

Bottle from Harat’s stand at the Opatovina Beer Fest, kindly shared with me by ogivlado, Domagoj V. &... G. Old gold body with a small white head. Dried fruit and caramel in the aroma, generic but not bad. The taste is the same but empty, vague peach only. Just OK, not terrible but without any real niche, use and anything but glorious.

Cask @ White Swan, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper with a glow. Has a small creamy head. It’s a malty session bitter with a very malty-sweet nose.

330ml brown bottle. Amber with a beige head that’s soon a coat. Aroma of toffee, spices, dried fruit. Remarkably it even smells a bit boozy. Decent if lifeless body, moderate carbonation. Tastes as it smells - sweet caramel malt, some dried fruit, light spices accompany moderate bitterness. Dull but in OK balance. Is this supposed to be "if you like London pride, you’ll like this?" Because nah.

Pint at the Eagle, Cambridge. Auburn brown with a small loose cream-coloured head. Lots of lacing. Raspberries, chocolate, cola and oak reward you in the modest aroma. Fruity taste, very sweet, with only slight bitter undertones. Chocolate and raisin in the finish. Oily body. This is really good, especially considering the source.

Amber color with a creamy off white head. Quite fruity and caramel malty aroma. A bit thin body and very soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Fruity and toffee in the flavor.

500ml clear glass bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber with thin white head. Aromas of metal, cereal, butterscotch. Taste is more of the same, and not great. Sweet finish. Not good.
