Can you believe we're five years old? It's been an exciting and eventful journey since we completed our first brew on February 14th 2015, so we decided to recognise this landmark by creating a series of three bold and impactful beers showcasing some of our favourite, hand-selected hops. This TIPA features a blend of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Simcoe.

Aroma & Flavour:

Can shared at FFB20 with the crew. Semi hazy orangeish golden pour, white head. Nose is big tropical and stone fruity notes. Taste is sweet fruitbomb upfront, then closes with a moderate hopburn and low to no bitterness. Light to medium, creamy body, soft carbonation.

Can at home ordered online from the brewery. Pours hazed yellow gold with a decent white cap. Aroma is pineapple, guava, a hint of grape. Lots of juicy pithy stone fruit and some dank hop. Taste is a big boozy fruity hit. Pineapple and guava at the front, bit of grape and orange on the finish. Dank hop and a bit of booze burn but really well balanced. Great stuff

440ml can from Unit 9 Taproom. Pours hazed orange golden with a white head. Aroma: dank, sweet, pineapple, guava, mango, papaya, grapefruit. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet with light to moderate bitterness, fresh, ripe tropical & stone fruits. Medium to full body, soft carb, sweet juicy dank finish. Enough piney bitter bite here to cut through the sweetness. Very fine

Can. CW online. Murked up, medium gold. Leggy and lacing, thin, bright white foam. Looks good. Nose has soggy stone fruit. Ripe strawberry. Yorkshire Mixture sweets. Pear Drops. Definitely a sweet shop thing here. Taste is similarly sweet, with, fortunately, a decent hit of estery, pine sap bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Drinks well under the ABV. Soft carbonation. More of the sappy bitterness to finish. Good.
