Light, fresh and hugely drinkable. Elio is the perfect accompaniment to those long summer days. Elio is a spanish name meaning 'sun'.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Clear straw colour. White head dissipates fully. Nose has grain and glue. Some herbal, woody hop. Taste is moderately sweet, with a light, leafy bitterness. Light body. Fine carbonation. Light bitter. Decent chugger, but nothing to write home about.

330ml bottle: BB 24th Jul 2020. Drank at home on 16th Aug 2019. Very pale golden body, clean and bright, wispy head. No real aroma or taste, just a refreshing drink with a few hops and malts thrown in, but not quite enough to give it any depth or flavour. You chose, subtle or bland?
