A pale, golden quaffing ale with excellent flavours for its strength. Pleasingly hoppy throughout without being aggressive and also possessing a fine aroma. The finish is dry with a small twist of sweetness at the end. If you feel that this is all rather pretentious then it can best be described as a ‘fantastic pint’!

Fancy a ‘Swift One’?!

Gravicask, half shared with Finn. Bright surface to a clear golden body. Aroma of semi-dry, citrus fruits. Fruit hoppy taste of sappy oranges with a mild, dry bitter twist to the finish. Thirst quencher (Redhill Beer Festival,02.11.2012).

Cask at the South Western Arms, St Denys (So’ton) - 09/09/12. Clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma of fruit, caramel and malt. Fruit, hops and a touch of caramel in the taste. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation leading to a dry finish.

On tap somwhere! Pale gold beer. Pleasant sweet hop nose. Light soft semi dry palate. Nice light hops - a little peach, a trace of orange and grapefruit. Finishes dry. Pleasant.

Drucken på Hawkley Inn. En bra golden ale som saknar lite av den fina humle som finns i quivern.

Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton, UK on 30 August 2010. Gold with thin white head. Light, hoppy, touch of fruit and easy drinking. Light to watery mouthfeel. Fairly subtle flavours but a refreshing quench on a warm August evening.

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 6 Aug 2009) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, pineapple and grass. Fruity taste with notes of grass, tropical fruit, pineapple and citrus. A rahter mild but aromatic citrussy bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, fairly sweet. Nice and tasty.

Cask, gravity at the Hampshire Bowman, Dundridge, Hampshire 7th June 2008 Pours mid gold with the smallest of white heads, looks pretty good. Quite a zesty, refreshing beer with plenty going on for the strength. Nice soft citrussyness, bitterness nice, has quite a bit of life, taste is very nice, I like this and think it makes a damn good session beer.

Cask at The Guide Dog, Southampton- Pale gold in colour with a mild but pleasant hoppy aroma. A well balanced hoppy and malty taste make this a good session beer in my view.
