Bottle from Asdas.

Nose is grain, cereal, sweet corn. Taste is cardboard, metalic, slightly acidic malt taste, rotting veg, a bitter medicinal acidic finish.

Absolutely abominable. As bad a beer as I have had in years.

Thin white foamy head on a slowly carbonating clear pale amber coloured body. Grain, malt & bitter aroma. Medium bodied, foamy over the tongue with a cloying back. Malt, grain, wet cardboard & lightly hopped tastes with a long bitter finish. I've had a lot worse.

Bottle from Asda, Dyce. It pours.clesr pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is papery upfront, grainy, grassy, hay and nutty vibes. The taste is crisp, dry, fairly sharp, grassy, grainy, some green veg, peas, cabbage, paper, soda water and nuttiness with a dry finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Pretty basic stuff.... Would not return to it. Grainy and sharp with some green veg.

Bottle from Lidl. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and grass. Taste has more grains and hay with some peppery spice and a slightly grassy and also metallic finish. Thinnish body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Below average Pilsner. Not great but drinkable.

It's fair to say this is not the greatest lager that Germany has created! Another one that looks the part, clear and golden with nice carbonation apparent, and a fluffy white head, and on the nose there's hints of grain/malt and hops. Tastewise it's grassy and a little bitter, but there is a slight industrial solvent edge to it

500ml bottle BBE Apr-21 only 92p from Asda. Pale straw colour with fizzy white head that dissipates to nothing, leaves no lacing, unimpressive. Aroma of corn, malt, sugars. Moderate to high carbonation, a little watery but enough body to leave a slight oiliness on palate. Not much flavour but getting malts and light grain, above average sweetness for a lager, a moderate bitterness and quite dry finish which is reasonable. Easy to drink lager. Apart from the poor appearance its not too bad and good value although not likely to buy again.

Bottle delivered from ASDA and drunk at home. Light gold, clear with a slightly rocky white head. Fresh aroma, a little bit spunky but not too bad, with light notes of lemon and white pepper. Tastes sweet. way to sweet. It does had a a little mid-sip, but there's a bit of gluey malt in the finish and aftertaste. Body is fairly watery, carbonation medium to heavy. It isn't terrible by any means, but it lacks any kind of complexity.
