Our IPA is an explosion of aromas from Cascade, Centennial and Mandarina hops. Think orange, grapefruit and pine turned up to eleven. Its fully charged, hoppy character is perfectly balanced by a sweetness from the Munich malt.

Pours a clear, transparent amber with sadly just a hint of white head, which soon disappears. Definitely not enough, but luckily the beer didn't seem to lack in carbonation. Aroma shows dominant, fresh orange notes with some grapefruit, a delicate piney presence and a bit of caramel backbone. Good enough intensity and brightness. Taste follows the aroma closely. Light caramel backbone, moderate/delicate resinous/piney notes, strong orange plus grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation, in an overall lively and nicely refreshing mouthfeel. Not special in any way but i found it enjoyable.

330ml bottle: BBE Jan 2020. Poured into a thistle shaped glass at home on 16th Aug 2019. Clear amber with a beige topping. Light orange like aroma with a piney twist. Taste is also orange like, but with a sweet maltiness rather than the piney hops from the nose. Becomes more bitter as it warms a little in the glass, more citrusy notes arrive too.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon zest, lemongrass, hints of lemon tea, a minimally leafy touch of lemon tea, caramel malty background, minimally sugary hints of instant lemon tea, a touch of lime. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty and citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemongrass, lemon zest, instant lemon tea, a minimally sopay touch of lime. Minimally sugary and artificial, but quite tasty overall.

[33cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell.] An attractive bright amber pour with a white head that fades too fast; orangey aroma with a herbal background; sweet mandarin taste, with more than a touch of wooden barrell adding mellowness and a touch of astringency. Pleasant, but lacking the promised hop explosion.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Tesco, I think. Pours totally clear orange-gold with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Enjoyable in a guilty pleasure kind of way. A bit sweet, with rounded bready pale malts a little honey, melon, semi-ripe citrus fruits, mellow rindy bitterness. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Rounded finish, more citrus, pale bread, soft bitterness. Fine.

Bottle. Straight from the bottle. Aroma and flavor are sweet, caramel, malt, black tea, despite the label describing the new world hops, it feels like English hops were used. Overall: quite ok.
