500ml bottle from Morrisons, online. Pours a clear dark gold, small white nicely lasting head, good lacing. Aroma is grains, biscuit malts, floral and citrus hops, maybe hint of spice. Fairly standard regional brewer fare but not unpleasant. Taste has a strange sweet syrupy grain to it, some citrus zest, and a nice pepperiness from the hop. Smooth but in a syrupy way. There is some syrup or extract in this that gives it an artificial taste. Its not unpleasant by any means but its not great.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden orange with a snow white head. Nose - sweet orange and sweet barley. Taste - sweet barley water again. Palate - light bodied and generally lacking in bitterness. Overall - ok, a bit bland.

Bottle from Morrison’s. Calling the best of anything is a bit of an exaggeration. Amber colour with a white head. Malty citrus aroma. Slightly sweet to light bitter taste. Not much going on.

Bottle from Morrisons, Eccles. Golden with a thinnish head. Fairly strong tasting and hoppy, not that stated in taste, starting to exhibit some lager flavours and aroma as it warms up.

500 ml bottle from my local Morrisons. Opened and drank at home on 2nd Feb 2018. Golden body, clear and bright, fast fading white head on top. Sweet front, bitter finish. Nose is slightly grainy, as is the taste. Liked it.

50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell. A plae amber pour with a thick cream head; typical sulphurous MArstons aroma with a touch of carmael; rich buttery caramel taste with a light earthy, spicy bitterness; and a biscuity finish with lingering spice. Very drinkable.
