Handpull cask at the Joiners Arms, Bakewell. Mid-gold, clear with a thin white head and lots of lacing. Light grainy aroma. Sweet taste, a little bit of 'hot golde' buttery character, but also with notes of overripe peach. Decent bitterness rounds off the finish. Medium body and soft to no carbonation. I don't generally care for these sorts of beers but this is not a bad one our of the lot.

500 ml bottle @Beershoppe (Rome). Dorata viva, limpida, schiuma bianca medio-leggera, mediamente persistente.

2/10/2022. Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours almost clear golden orange with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of stone fruits, orange, straw, caramel, citrus, lime, melon, chalky husky edge. Moderate sweetness and moderate to medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Sweeter finish developed balanced nicely with the bitterness. Decent.

Cask at Five Lamps, Derby Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Nose is rather bland – just some vague hints of citrus. In the mouth it is malty and sweetish, with some honey. Some bitterness comes through in the finish. A good solid beer – not my favourite style but a good example.

Thanks to my sister-in-law, Sarah, for the xmas prezzie. Hazy gold beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth, fairly dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Light dry malt, mildly sweet. Decent tangy orange, slightly sharp. Whisper of fresher orange. Dry finish. Pretty well balanced and also pretty drinkable.
