Bottle... Poured a murky dark brown with a thin whispy off white head. The aroma is roasted malt, caramel, floral hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a roasted malt, caramel hop liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, fudge, light roast, milk chocolate. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours black with a small head.Nose shows chocolate, roasted barley, nutty and toasty malt, oatmeal and a very faint liquorice note. Very nice, very complex.Equally rich flavours, with more cocoa, burnt toast, roasted barley and soft coffee.Carbonation seems very low, body feels a little watery.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelbraunes fast schwarzes Bier mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Kaffee, schokoladig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffeebohnen.

Bottle. Black with a rapidly fading beige head. Aroma of coffee, plums, sharpish red berries. Medium bodied, somewhat astringent. Very fruity with coffee and berries, floral and bitter herbal (menthol, bitters) notes. Unusual, interesting, good.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, red berries, chocolate, licorice, sweet booze and bread. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of red berries, dried fruit, raw sugar and light chocolate. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Quite OK, but very British in style.

330 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a small beige head. Not particular strong, but very nice aroma of roasted, dark malt, coffee, dark chocolate and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet and malty, roasted, coffee, chocolate, dry fruit and balanced bitter. Fine body and good in aftertaste. A well-made, not extreme, tasty and complex stout.
