A Skagitonian barrel aged blend

Patience is a virtue. Fish are scaly. The sea is the sea. This beer was made with patience (not fish, nor the sea). It’s a malty golden-amber blend of multiple batches of barrel-aged beer, inoculated with house-cultivated brettanomyces, and bottle-conditioned with honey. We use hyperlocal ingredients and 100% native yeast, ferment in oak, and blend to taste. Each of our products will lead you down a garden path, to beautiful places you may not have expected to go.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Dry and fruity with an aroma of wood, some funk, citrus, and apricot. Mild sour, tart flavour, dry finish. Medium body. Tasty.

Hazy dullish pale amber, touch of brett, soft, moderately tart in the finish. This has that classic Garden Path signature, which is becoming wilder all the time.

On tap at Hopwired, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out wild yeast, a little oak, and and a hint of fruitiness. Flavour is dry and crisp, with crisp saison yeast, some oak, and wild yeast. Crisp and funky, with more depth than usual. Solid stuff.

Draft @ BxlBeerFest 2019.
