Far better than feared. The honey balanced the acidity very well. Quite mild whiskey profile also. Absolutely very drinkable and fine this one.

12 fl.oz bottle. A clear golden colour, small white ring. Aroma of sweet apples and strong honey flavour. Taste of sweet honey, sweet apples, cookies, vanilla.

33cl bottle from a Conisbrough night shop, a little after the best before date. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Don't really get the honey or whiskey but I do get some vanilla. It's actually quite smooth and easy drinking.

Bottle at the Duck in the Pond, Harrow. Clear orangey-gold. Completely flat. Predominant taste is cough mixture and dirt, with hints of lemon, whisky liqueur, and an odd twist of fresh eating apple. It's too dirty and too sweet and sickly. I really don't like this.

355ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of green apple and honey. Taste is green apple, caramel, sweet sugary with honey and whiskey flavouring. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy finish. OK, abit artificial.

09/04/2017 @home - small bottle from Albert Hein Oudenaarde. Clear golden with a small rim as head. Nose is fresh green apple and sweet honey. Taste is first sweet honey, than green apple, finally a mild smokey touch. A bit too sweet.

Bottle from Tesco, Borehamwood. Golden coloured cider. The honey is slightly less stated than the whisky influence, but both are evident. It’s not the best fusion with apple though.

Golden colour with no head. Aroma and flavour have a touch of caramelised apples. Some honey sweetness but no obvious whisky notes.

355ml bottle. Clear orangey colour with a minimal head, short-lived. Aroma is strange, whiskey sweetened with honey to the point where it’s a bit perfumey, apple is quite sweet too. The taste pretty much mirrors the aroma, artificially sweet apples, some whiskey adding a touch of alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.
