A fine summer beer - crisp, clean, refreshing and hoppy. Pours a straw yellow colour with a rocky white head, with tropical hop aromas waft thickly out of the glass. The bright, peachy, juicy-fruit hop flavours marry nicely with the wheat malt. In terms of bitterness, it’s firm, but not so intense that it overwhelms the light wheat character.

Cask @ Plough, Clapham Junction. Golden with a glow and a creamy head. It’s a carbonised fruity pale with a good dryness in this respect.

On tap at Little Creatures - Singapore, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals somewhat dank hops, an earthy character, and bready malt. Flavour is very dry, with an earthy hop character and biscuity malt base. Dry and easy, but boring.

Tap at the Freehouse, Singapore. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus, skunky yeast, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, slightly watery, mineral metallic, light fruity, dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Keg at Rose and Thistle, Frimley Green. Light grass and floral aroma - a sweet popcorn element. Gold. Creamy but thin white head. Very light bitter with an umami edge. Some hops. Cereal. Soda. Light bodied. The thin body and fizzy carbonation create a soda water-esque effect. Although it has a chalky mouthfeel into the dry finish. OK. Certainly a summer drink as it's wet and refreshing. But not much going on.
