Rock'n'Roll

A very cloudy gold with a crazy thick head of foam. Lots of floaters. A fruity light malt aroma. Medium to full bodied with a raspy carbonation. I’m not sure if it is supposed to be a blonde or a saison. It is peppery, a bit bitter metallic chewy and fruity in flavor. An APA??? Either this was way too old or it just didn’t survive the trip to Japan in good condition.

Bottle from Eataly, Genoa, Italy, consumed at home Sunday 12th February 2017 whilst cooking Cottage Pie Pours hazy gold with a white head. It’s a tad sweet and I have to say it lacks a zap, ok it’s got a fruitiness but it’s not that exciting, bitterness is muted, it’s just fine, but I was hoping for much more. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy golden, white head. Fruity caramel, very little citrus hops. The taste an intense blend of fruity caramel and some honey, citrus, lime, zesty and slightly peppery finish. Good, and quite different.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Baladin Open Rock’n’Roll ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, fruity hops, dusty hops, peppery hops - yeast. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, dusty hops, sweet malt, fruity hops, peppery hops - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 330ml bottle into shaker. Translucent golden amber beer with solid foam on top. Appears to be highly carbonated. Aroma of distant bread and oranges, very faint. Flat and smooth, slight zingy bitterness on the swallow. Finish is chalky and metallic with weak fruit notes. Acceptable Pale Ale, definitely easy-drinking.

Bottle, 7.5%. Hazy golden with floaries with big off-white head. Aroma is malt, pepper, caramel and hops. Flavour is malt, caramel, pepper, hops, citrus, grapefruit, medium sweet, hop, grapefruit and medium bitter.

Bottle @ Johns. Pours golden with a white head, some floaties. Aroma of malt, light yeast, grass, spice, pepper. Flavor is malt, light yeast, spice, pepper, light hops. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and light peppery finish. 181016

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, fruits, malt, flowers, hops and has a nice sweet fruity finish.
