Mondo taproom. Keg. Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, dry and has biting fine minerally crispness. The malt base is quite sweet, a lactose kinda sweetness. Mild floral mid and then citric peel and a little hop spice. A very crisp finish brings some juicy orange. Satisfying but the malt base is a little too sweet.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours totally clear with a thick, creamy off-white head. The nose holds ripe, lightly dank citrus fruits, orange, melon, grapefruit, pine. Medium sweet flavor with rich citrus, melon, papaya, oily pine, bready malts. Medium you ll bodied, lightly chewy, with fine to average carboantion. Resinous and lightly warming on the finish, with gooey citrus fruits, bready sugars, some goopy pine, more orange, melon, pineapple, papaya and mango. A little piney bitterness in the aftertaste. The beer sits a bit heavy on the palate, but the hop expression is solid and it’s a good beer overall.

Keg at the white hart pub. Clear dark orange coloured pour with a lasting thin loose white head. Aroma is big chewy sweet caramel, butterscotch, some orange rind and earth. Flavour is composed of rough chewy caramel biscuits malts and earthy grains, some pine, hit alcohol, dirt. Palate is sweet, under attenuated, moderate carbonation. Pretty tough going to finish the half. Old school double IPA. Lingering burnt caramel and earthy pine.

Keg at Mondos Tap, Saturday 13th February 2016 Soft in the mouth, warming, good depth but lacks a little something. Sweet, middling bitterness. Pours crystal clear orange gold. Like the IPA there is a little sweet orange, but I think that I prefer the IPA. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Drinks crazy for the abv. Malt-forward DIPA which is fascinatingly complex. Light. Fruity. Dank. Great understanding of malt.

Keg at Mondo. It pours clear amber with a sturdy off-white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, fragrant, fruity, lychee, stewed tangerine, toffee and orange blossom. The taste is firmly bitter, piney, resinous, lychee, orange blossom, tangerine, brioche, toffee, peppery spice, citrus peel and some alcohol boost with a dry, peppery finish. Medium + body and moderate carbonation. Pretty flavoursome stuff.
