Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours deep red - brown with a decent white head. The aroma is rich maltage, brown bread, ryvita, malt loaf, toasty slice, black bananas, toasted banana bread and warming clove spice. The taste is drying, toothy, chewy, bitter - sweet, warming spice, clove rock, brown bread, malt loaf, dried fruits l, toasted fruit loaf, banana bread and a splash of cola with a bitter - sweet finale. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Ticks all the boxes for the style. Drinks very well.

Hacklberg Humorator, frische Flasche von Edeka, Rotthalmünster. - Dunkles Kupferrotgold, klar. (30.4.2024.)

Bottle picked up from Getränke Degenhart - Markt Waldkirchenand consumed at home Sunday 11th February 2024 listening to Nadine Shah - Topless Mother after nipping into Schönberg and watching Fasching/Karneval. We're cooking Chicken Dauphinoise with Dijon and Cream later. Pours deep chestnut in colour with a mid sized off white head. Malty backbone, its very prominent on the nose and in the mouth. Caramel and toffee in abundance, thickness in the mouth, there is a little bit of a fruity tang and a light nuttiness. Good.

Clear red brown. Aroma is apricot raisin caramel bready base. Taste is rather sweet caramel with little bitter melasses and dense malty sweet base. Quite much on the sweet side but not bad.

Farbe sehr dunkles rot-braun. Malzige und alkoholige Noten bestimmen, hopfige und ganz leicht röstig / rauchige folgen. Für einen dunklen Doppelbock erstaunlich süffig. Aber Vorsicht - das Zeug knallt ganz schön. Und dann wird es schnell recht humorig.

Bottle, many thanks Beerhunter111! Clear deep chestnut color with eggshell head. Aroma is molasses, burnt brown sugar, breadcrust. Taste is brown sugar, molasses, caramel, nutty, raisins. Chewy mouthfeel, a bit sirupy, with foamy carbonation. A very rich and tasty Doppelbock that is perhaps a touch too sweet.
