Keg at the source, 17/02/18. Light black with a reddish glint topped with a decent tan head. Nose is mellow coffee, brown bread, dried fruits, light roasted notes. Taste comprises brown bread, chocolate biscuit, lighter coffee than the nose, raisins, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome mild ... good coffee profile without taking over the beer.

Keg at Bernstein's Bar - Hackney: pours deep brown with a small, creamy tan cap. Nice aroma, with some brown bread, a little chocolate, ripening berries. Medium sweet flavour with nicely toasted brown bread, raisins, nips of alcohol, subtly bitter cocoa. Medium bodiednwith fine to average carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish, with more toasty brown bread, a little scorched earth, chocolate, berries. Good stuff overall.
