Cask gravity at the rifle volunteers. Bushey. A clwer mid golden coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, bready, butter, grassy, hedgerow row.. Flavour is composed of grassy hop, sileage, buttwred bread.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. The aroma has floral hops and citrus. In the mouth it is slightly bitter but with a little underlying sweetness. Some grains in the flavour alongside floral hops and hints of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Finish is slightly dry. This is reasonable – certainly swiggable but a bit too citrusy for my taste.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 13th June 2024 in the Hope & Champion (the Spoons at Beaconsfield Motorway Services) on our way to Heathrow Airport. Clean golden body, white affair on top. Citrussy front with a semi-sweet malty base, light bitterness in the finish.

Cask at the Squirrel (not the Mad one, the other one!) in Wycombe. Lightly hazed yellow-gold with a thick white sparkler head. Light lemon and some dusty minerals. Very bland and dull, not helped by having had the life knocked out of it by the sparkler. Poor by Rebellion's standards.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A pale golden pour with a tight cream coloured head; lemony citrus aroma; sweet bready body with a lemon drizzle taste; and a malty finish with a pithy bitterness. A pleasant session bitter.

Cask at the Whip Inn, Laceys Green, 31/08/20. Clear golden blonde with a well presented lasting white head. Nose is airy malts, light citric zest, toasted grains, hint of melon. Taste comprises lemon drizzle, light breads, melon, soft malts, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking and refreshing cask pale.
