Bottle reduced to a bargain 95p at Waitrose. The beer's a dark brown to black with a beige head and a light fizz. Taste is cocoa and brazil nuts with a mildly bitter roasted malt finish. There's only the faintest hint of coconut flavour, which shows itself more through a touch of creaminess and a slightly oily mouthfeel. It's an ok stout; I'd have liked to see the coconut coming through a bit more.

Bottle. Waitrose. Xmas tick gift from the missus. Clear dark brown. Fine ring of beige. Nose has chocolate cake. Bit of coconut. Light roast malt. Taste has some milky coffee sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. Light bitter finish. Better than I was expecting.

Bottle from Waitrose, in Rickmansworth, Herts. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma and taste. Very thin stout and not tasting any coconut at all. Rather forgettable to be honest.

Bottle from Waitrose. Some Boiled vegetables and malt mixed with some sweet Creme brulee choco notes in the aroma. Quite a light and easy drinking stout with some milky coconut notes. Decent.

330ml bottle from Waitrose; BBE Mar 2021. Drank at home on 3rd Oct 2020. Black bodied, decent foaming head of beige bubbles. Smooth and malty, but not much coconut in either the nose or taste. Still a pleasant beer though.

15/5/2020. Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pours very dark brown with minimal head. Aroma of mild roasted malt, caramel, ash, milk chocolate, light coffee and some coconut husk. Moderate sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, soft carbonation. Clammy finish. Not keen.

330ml bottle from Waitrose Newport, Shropshire. Deep brown appearance, off-white head. Aroma of dark malt, vague chocolate. Taste is thinner than expected, certainly not as sumptuous and coconutty as the label would suggest. But there is an appealing chocolate side with an intriguing underlying richness. Ok.
