Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Clear, very dark red with a beige head. Sweetish, malty and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, molasses and raisins. Very sweet, malty and slightly fruity taste of molasses, caramel, raisins, red grapes and some oak, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly vinous and a little woody finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Tasty!

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. Dark brown going to black, tanned head. Nose is herbal cacao, liquorice, wine oxidation. Taste is weird bit metallic, herbal, soapy as well with liquorice. Syrupy body, faint oxidation. Quite messy, barrel doesn’t really shine, soapy notes. Not optimal.

23/IX/17 - on tap @ Borefts Bierfestival 2017 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2017-1717) Thanks to ratebeerians and friends for sharing today's beers!
Clear brown beer, creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, smoky, malty, caramel, some banana, alcohol, roasted, sweetish. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet, malty, roasted, lots of chocolate, some coffee, bitter, sugary malts. Aftertaste: bitter, lots of alcohol. Very decent. By far the best beer they brought to the festival! Sort of saved the bad name they made for themselves so far...

Quite fruity and definitely sweet. Not bad, tasty even, but seems too random a mix of flavors, that vanishes quickly.
