Clear golden beer with a thin head. Light bitter aroma, light grapefruit taste. It?s just a basic American IPA but it?s well done.

Keg @ Beckett’s Bank, Leeds. Golden with a small head and a carbonation. Light tasting for its style with some tropical fruit in both aroma and taste although not too stated. Quite crisp with a hint of maltiness.

Copper colour. Caramel and piney hop aroma. Flavour also has some caramel malt and a mixed hop profile.

Keg at the William Robert Looseley (JDW), High Wycombe. Pale amber with a thick white head that looks pretty good in the branded glass. Dirty old pine needles are the main thing here, although there’s a light hint of flowers and grapefruit behind. Rather thin and definitely one dimensional. Feels like a budget IPA, which at the end of the day I guess is what it is.

Keg at William Jolle (W’Spoons), Northwood Hills. A golden/amber coloured pour with a tight medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, citrus aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, citrus, slightly bitter and clean. Quite an enjoyable IPA, I may have scored it higher if it wasn’t served so damn cold. A definite go to in a Spoons.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a tight cream head; piney aroma; creamy texture, with a tangerine and grapefruit taste; with a grainy, clean grapefruit finish. Good to see Wetherspoons embracing craft beers.

Keg at the Crown Rivers, LHR T5, pre US tune up 07/11/14. Clear golden with moderate off white spotting. Nose is floral hop, bitter orange, straw, hint of grapefruit. Taste comprises tangerine, light spice, orange, floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness and a touch of minerals. A little bland akin to generic US family style brewpub IPA’s but passable and certainly an option to consider at a Spoons depending on what else is on.

Keg at JDW, T5 Heathrow, Thursday 13th November 2014 Pours copper in colour with white rim of bubbles. Soft in mouth with some unripe citrus and a little *sandalwood on nose *though I do smell like a right tart having sprayed myself with all manner of fragrances in Duty Free, so this beer might not actually give out such a fragrance. It’s pretty good, bitterness remains, definately some orange. I like it, its good. A7 A3 T7 P3 Ov15 3.5

Crosse Keys Spoons. Several pints with my team mates. A bright clear gold beer, with a tidy white head. Palate is light and crisp. Clean pale malts, whisper of thin malt cream. Hops are a nice light pine with modest hop skunk and citrus. Light crisp finish. Even at 5.2% this a great sessioner and never gets tired on the palate. Comes over as a well hopped clean lager. Could drink this ’till the cows come home! Great job!
