A lightly hazed golden ale with a thick creamy white head. A lightly herbal malt, wild herbs, bit of boiled vegetables. In mouth, more of a wheat beer with light cloves, bubblegum, nice and refreshing. Medium bodied. A summer beer for sure. Tasted around Jan 2007.

22 oz Bottle as #10. Slightly hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma has a light impression of cooked cabbage and hops. Flavor is malty, hoppy and a metallic harsh finish. Maybe something is wrong with this bottle, otherwise it’s just another sample of a plain beer with just a bunch of hops added to it. Not in balance at all, big disappointment.

Bomber. Aromas of fruits and sugars. Slightly hazy orange tinged amber color with essentially no head at all. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is caramel, bread, earth and light floral hop. The finish is dryish and earthy floral. A bit astringent and woody. After awhile honey aroma is present. Agree, saison is pretty close.

Light and underwhelming for a Langunitas beer. Gold color. Aroma has citrus, especially lemon. Flavor has some grass, more citrus, and light hops. Very well carbonated and an appropriate light body for a beer meant to be a warm weather thirst quencher.

Bottled. Clear, lightly sparkling golden beer with a small white head. Fruity and hop-bitter aroma and flavor, where also some metallic notes are present. Medium body and a metallic hop-bitterness to round it off. A quite boring beer I think. (070216)

22 oz. 2006 batch. Yep, more or less a Belgian character here. Pours a dark golden pilsner/Special B color, with a flush of rosiness in the center. Smell brings out a bot of bubble-gum and other aromatics of Belsian thingies. Taste is crisp, with light fruits, and a bit doughy, with a hint of wheat. Light floral hops, and since they suggest it, kind of reminds me of a Westmalle. Yes, I’d have preferred to taste this in the summer, but I don’t know that it’ll stay good that long. No sediment at the bottom suggests filtering and force carbonation, but still similar to a dubbel in fizziness.

Good old Lag 10. Aroma is kinda sweet - like its gonna be a killer alky brew. I haven’t tasted a mild Lag yet. Both Brown Shugga and Cappuccino Stout were quite impressive as far as bitterness goes. Upon tasting, it is just as expected, do they use the same background recipe to brew from? Same bitter medicinal treatment on my taste buds. If you like big beers like imp stout and IPA, you bettor give this a try. Very very difficult to drink and enjoy. This is like the bang you get from 32 oz malt liquors from the bar for $2. Why not, this was only $2 for a 22 oz brown bottle bomber! Hop and malt bitterness ensues after a few slugs. The taste is reminiscent of a mild rubber inner tube. Finish is alky that lingers oppressive for a few moments.

Blond color. Some malt aroma, with straw. Very simple taste, light fruitness, flat emotions.

Golden color with plenty of bubbles and a medium white head. Taste is pleasant with hops, grain, citrus, malts, and some spices. Pretty much all that you would expect in a beer. Nothing outstanding, but well balanced and easy to drink.
