500 ml bottle. Hazy dark orange body with a rather small white head. Relatively vague hoppy aroma, but delicate. Flavor is rather bitter with a nice malty sweetness. Medium body. A nice but rather plain hoppy ale that improves after a few more sips. Interesting and a bit different.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned. Hazy golden brown colour, moderate head. Unusual sweetish aroma, jam, cooked vegetables, hay. Malty flavour with a noticeable sweetness, some caramel and fruit, and a distinct "bite" from the Progress hops in the finish and aftertaste. Not bad at all!

Bottle: poured a cloudy orange-brown, with a trace of off-white head - not very appealing to look at. Aroma of stale biscuit, watery with burnt malt to start followed by s atridently bitter hop finish. Hopefully just a bad bottle.

Bottled. Golden with a diminishing white head. Sediments in the bottle, but they stayed there. Metallic notes in the aroma, along with hops and some malt. Malty flavor with a quite pronounced bitterness and a citric background. Medium body and a light bitter finish. Flavor improves towards the end of the bottle, but it is a bit too one-dimentional all the way. (060624)

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours amber golden with a slight haze - no head. Fresh and fruity nose. Medium-bodied, fruity - lightly citrusy - sort of vitamin C like. Light bitter finish. Quite fresh and nice. 090606

Picked up a bottle from Malvern Spring show 13-05-06. Amber beer pours with a small white head, bit malty hoppy in the finish and reasonable all told but nothing special.

An amber beer with an OK, but disappearing white head. The aroma is weird with spices and hop notes, doesnโ€™t the weirdness come from the Progress hops? The flavor is very hoppy and very weird with a dry end. I wonder if it is the Progress hops, that makes this beer weird?
