Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly nice with solid grain notes, moderately strong, earthy, woody, herbal hop notes and hints of alcohol. Light floral esters. Pours a fairly, clear brilliant gold with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes to a small film that lingers on the edges. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet upfront with light grain notes and hints of bread and cracker. Fairly strong bitterness with lots of herbal, spicy, woody hop notes. Moderate pepper notes and faint, floral esters. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another odd one. The aroma is nice and doesn't foreshadow the overly strong, woody, herbal and peppery note that overwhelm the flavor.

75cl bottle from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: medium, white, good retention. C: shiny pale gold, hazy. A: malty, bit herbal, honey, floral, orange, spicy. T: medium malty base, prominent long lasting bitterness, bit herbal, very dry on the palate, leaves, grassy, really bitter stuff here, I like it.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malt, grass, Saison yeast. Taste: Spicy Saison yeast, notes of pepper, grassy with a nice bitterness. Moderate sweet, starting over moderate hopbitterness going to above medium towards and at the finish. Finishing with a taste of bitter orange zest with spicy Saison yeast in the background. Medium body, below average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Getting somewhat less intense bitter when standing longer, giving space to some bread and toast flavours. Another very nice Fantome, I love the bitter finish of this beer.

Bottle. Etre. Clear gold. Fine white head is fully lacing and lasting. Nose has a fairly typical Fantome yeastiness, with a load of grassy, herbal, peppery hop spice on top. Bready grain. Some fusty lemon. Taste is super bitter, and a little dry. No sweetness here. Medium body. Oily. Fine carbonation. Big dose of grassy, herbal bitterness to finish.
