Flaske fra ICA: Nydelig gylden farge med stort skum som varer. Tydelig aroma med humler (4 ulike flg etiketten) og karamellmalt. Deilig, velbalansert smak. En super butikk-ipa. Denne skal jeg ha felere av!

500 ml. bottle, 3.8.2012. Clear, dark orange colour with a small, white head. Aroma is spicy, with grassy hops. Taste has a crisp hops bitterness. Light to medium body with a thinner texture, lively carbonated. Finishes with spicy hops with some grasses. I like this beer!

500ml Bottle best before 09 May 2012: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 26 July 2012, so out of date when reviewed! Looks a healthy amber colour with a full lasting head of off-white bubbles. Hops in the nose and taste but strangely it also has a noticeable malt content in both too. Hops first with semi-sweet malty molasses second. Highly carbonated and almost ’fizzy’ in fact. Nice balance to the brew if you like your hops, over hopped if you don’t. I enjoyed this bottle even though I prefer malter brews: this is easy to drink and refreshing after a warm working day (like today).

Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with a pretty big frothy off-white head, soap-like. Quite carbonated aswell. Aromas of sweet malt, fudge, candy, herbs, caramel, and some sweet berries and hops. Sweet flavours of caramel, wood, and some metal, hops and oak. A touch of burned wood in the end, Light to medium bitterness, and a soft mouth feel. A decent Premium Bitter/ESB.

Bottle. A clear one, dark golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacigns. The aroma is quite weak, even for an ESB, with the hops doing most of the work. Some lightly caramel smelling maltyness too. Grass, pinecone notes and some spiced hints. The flavor is a bit sweet, with caramel, resin and spice hints and a little bitterness. Medium body. Well, it certainly has a misleading name, but it’s a decent beer anyway, although too weak on most aspects. 120324

500ml bottle from a local ICA store. Frothy, near-white head that stayed well and left a good amount of lacing to the glass. Clear copper coloured body. Leafy hops and earthy malts in a promising aroma. Resinous hops in flavour in fine harmony with mid-sweet, caramel malts and with a good bitter support towards the ending. Soft in the mouth. Clean, fresh and moreish. Easy to drink and easy to like. A pleasant surprise (Tromsø, 10.03.2012).
