Altbier ist eine dunkle obergärige Biersorte, die traditionell in Nordrhein-Westfalen/ im Großraum Düsseldorf gebraut wird. Unser tiefbraunes, fränkisches Altbier überzeugt durch sein feines nussig-malziges Aroma, mit einem Hauch Rosine im Geschmack. Sein leichter Körper und seine angenehm leichte Spritzigkeit machen es zu einem sehr süffigen Bier. Ein Bier für Liebhaber dunkler Bierstile mit abgerundetem Charakter.

Appearance: cloudy amber with a large ivory-coloured head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: bread, caramel, dried fruits, hop. Light sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: OK.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Cloudy pale amber in the glass, one finger foamy white head. Apple fruity sweetness and caramel on the nose. Taste starts also fruity, caramel, present dry hop bitterness. More than average carbonation. Getting a little bit thin to the end.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty. Modest dry. Some herbal notes as well. Some notes of cookies. Finish well balanced, spicy-malty, mild bitterness. Okay.

Clear amber beer, creamy dense beige to yellow head, little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty start, grains, some caramel malts, a bit nutty, spicy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, grains, pretty bitter, a little metallic, some caramel, a bit sourish, good!

Ordentlicher Bodensatz am Flaschenboden, den man wie bei einem Weißbier ausschütteln sollte. Eine tolle Trübung ist die Belohnung. Malz, leichte Kaffeenoten, etwas gekochte Früchte. Eher süffig, als gehaltvoll. Ab dem Mittelteil recht trocken. Zutaten aus biologischem Anbau - sehr lobenswert.

Bottle from Ambasada, huge thanks Dimi for getting this for Hrabren and me! Surprisingly misty amber-orange body, off-whtie head. Sweetish, honeyish malty-caramelly taste, lightly fruity (orange), lightly grainy, vague herbal notes in the finish. Imperfect but actually quite tasty and drinkable!

0.5 l bottle shared with Marko, thanks. Unclear amber to copper, small to medium lasting off-white head. Aroma is nutty, malty, caramely, slightly buttery, toasty, nicely spicy. Light body, moderate to high carbonation, nice nutty and toasty, slightly piquantly rough in a pleasant eay, drinkable, nice sweetness, some caramel or toffee, finishes semi-dry. What a nice surprise.

Bottled 500ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Darker orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, dusty and light earthy nose. Sweetish malty, light caramel, some cereals and mild nutty touch in the finish.
