At long last, we bring you our take on a Hazy IPA. It’s no secret that most of our portfolio is hop forward, flavorful, and unfiltered. With Barbarian Haze, we took the hopping protocol a bit further, using some new age brewing alchemy coupled with our old school heavy handed approach. Fans of the style will recognize the complex soft malt character that helps balance the generous hop additions for supreme drinkability.

Poured a cloudy yellow from can, nice juicy citrus, grapefruit and pine. Good enough

Part of 12 can It's Not Normal variety pack purchased in Vermont on a trip (Easter 2023 I think). Slightly unfiltered, lightly hazed golden colour with an amber hue. The head is a bit off-white, frothy-soapy with good stay and leaving foamy lacing patches. Freshly cut grass aromas with citrus notes and hints of tropical fruits. Wet, refreshing mouthfeel with some nice dry-hopping in the end. A little more fruity, juicy in the taste with the mild grassy-hops showing in the finish. Some notes of West Coast style in the nose, but the rest shows the Haze IPA style.

Väga smooth hazy ipa, heas tasakaalus, parajalt magus ja mõru. Hea.

Pours an opaque yellow beer under big foamy white head.Resiny nose with a side of orange peel. Taste has big bitterness of American hops, but a side of citrus, like a mixed drink with orange juice. Crispy malts try to sidle up to the hops, but just aren't up to the task. Juiciness increases as I go further down.

From a cheap can this stuff pours very hazy, almost milkshake (?) muddy off pale with a tint of light brown-orange. A hoppy perfumy sweet smell is permeating the environment, I guess it comes from this drink. First taste is horrendously on-style for an IPA, so stupidly one sided bitter, I can barely stand it. Its rude, its crude, its a bitch and its a bastard. Whew. Another one in a trillion IPA out there. Finish? If I can get there, I need a nice clean bubbly cheap pale lager to chase this with. Mansplaining, this stuff is mouthcoating, condescending, repulsing and patronizing. There, you have it.

Murky peach with a large foamy head that lingered and left great lacing. Bitter with orange and some grapefruit. Long orange finish. Moderately full bodied.

Straightforward hazy IPA, not a juice bomb but not overhopped all too hell and back, either. Notes of grapefruit pith, passion fruit, peach, and pine, with a mineral bitterness on the finish. Well-made, very drinkable, not overly memorable.

12oz can. Poured a hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was big citrus, pine, resin. Light creamy character, but not the big juice bomb I get from most hazy beers. Light, pleasant bitterness. Light fruity finish.
