1 March 2025. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks to hosting, Tim & Marina, and cheers to the whole crew!

Vintage 2021. No head. Cassis, carré confiture, brambleberry, malt vinegar, ink, dark furniture. Sour black- & brambleberry, some lemon, some umami black olive even, ink. Tart berries, bit woody & lemony in the finish. Flat carbonation, oily texture. I don't what it is but I love it.

Whisky-style bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Dark mahogany appearance, no head. Interesting, good sharp dark sour character, Cantillon used apparently.. some dried dark fruits, soy, carried well by that sharp definition.. dark blackberry hints. Lovely.

Bottle shared at Brewver Belgian Winter Gathering. Dark brown color, no head. Smell and taste are odd, sour, light vinegar. I can't properly describe this. Weird. 6-5-5-6-5

1/III/25 - 50cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB: n/a, 2021 edition (2025-159) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: very oxidized, sugary, some soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, dusty impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet impression, very sour, lots of balsamic vinegar, oxidized, wry, lots of tannins, way too sour. Aftertaste: very acidic, dry, sourish, very oxidized, not very good.

2021 edition. Funny whisky bottle shared at Belgian Beer Geeks Gathering. Indeed quite some lambic funk, roasted malts, earthy, overripe blackberries, soft plums, licorice, ash. Medium sour, lighter sweet. Over medium bodied. Flat.
